I totally don't know what is going on, or rather was going on.
I am astonished and shocked at what is in the blog...
Well, I do hope all misunderstanding and unpleasant'ment' is settled...
Mons will always stay united and together...
Okay? so nobody's going to fight over anything, nobody's going to say anything else about what has happened, just shake hand and forgive one another.. okie?
well, even though i'm glad to see that people are getting into groups of friends,encouraging one another and all, like the all famous A4...
I do hope that there will be unity in the class, holding all the "groups" together...bla bla
forgive and forget......
Okie, maybe i'm be talking crap, i juz wish the best for the class...
So sad i can't go to next week's outing, have to go and pluck my wisdom teeth...(-o-)

I just got worried because of how serious you sounded on your blog, and I don't mean to accuse anyone. I just don't want anything bad to happen. It's good that they're beginning to patch up again. It's not fair.

If I'm rude and harsh, I apologise. But here I'm trying to clarify. I've been in class whole day so I know what's the situation like.

Right. This thing started to be a joke, and obviously people took it too seriously. He meant for it to be A JOKE. And NO ONE IS SPLITTING THE CLASS INTO TWO. It's only Louis and Si Yuan arguing and NO ONE IS TAKING SIDES. Not a single one. No one is defending Louis and no one is defending Si Yuan. Both of them have their own side of the stories, both have their own way of thinking; it was a pure misunderstanding. All of us are trying our best to pull the 2 of them back together. We are no childish people trying to help either one of them. When we see things getting out of the way we know how to try to pull it back.

Without this Alliance and Pact thing the same thing could have happened. Not many knows what Louis said about Si Yuan and I don't think it's good to publicise. Not many knows why Si Yuan is so angry about it. In the first place it was meant to be a joke and Louis thought Si Yuan meant it. But no, both of them were too blunt and there was a misunderstanding. And no one is taking sides. In class and out of class, we have been encouraging them to talk, and they are learning to take a step at a time. Both of them are willing to give in.

The class isn't splitting into two.

For your information, Louis isn't in DesPa Alliance.

DesPa Alliance would not take side against Si Yuan.

Shesaw Pact would as well not take side against Louis.

Military Alliances

I don't mean to offend anyone, but this is something I think really should be nipped in the bud. It's not a good thing to have around, and being honest about it is the best thing. I apologise beforehand if I am too harsh with my words or offend anyone. This is simply the way I feel about matters.

I just found out that Si Yuan and Louis are having a cold war because of the Shesaw Pact and the DesPa Alliance. It's ridiculous. I don't even know why Si Yuan and gang started this entire Shesaw Pact thing, or why they purposely pick on Desmond. I joined the Alliance because I felt sorry for Desmond, who was going around the class asking people to join him against Si Yuan. I didn't want Si Yuan's joking to turn into malicious bullying, so I joined. I certainly don't want this entire thing to end up as a bad memory for Desmond (who'd probably always remember Si Yuan in a bad light) and I don't want our class to gang up against him. I don't want us to be divided either. Our class unity was hard-won, and I don't want it to be dissolved. Why are we entering into a fight because of two jokes of a military alliance? Why are we destroying friendships when it's our last year and our last few months to be a class? Please give up this nonsense and mend whatever holes we've already made in our friendships. Let's dissolve the Pact and the Alliance and live out our last days in NHSS with friendship instead of bullying and anger and resentment. I don't want us to end up supporting different sides, angry with each other and refusing to help each other because of our 'sides'.

I don't want this to end up the way it did with Kingshaw and Hooper. (Lit students would understand. In our Lit text, Hooper bullies Kingshaw psychologically and eventually wears him down. Hooper is the ultimate evil. He never relents, despite all the good things Kingshaw does in response to his dastardly behaviour. Kingshaw's kindheartedness stops him from retaliating, and his fear eventually gets the better of him. He commits suicide.) I'm not saying that Si Yuan is as evil as Hooper is, but I'm afraid what he thinks is harmless might have a great impact on Desmond. I'm sure everyone knows my sob story from primary school. I made a mean comment about a friend and she was really upset. I didn't make much of it, but she did. She transferred schools because of one mean sentence. I think she remembers it as well as I do. Let's give up this farce of a war and be a proper class again. Let's laugh together and work together again. I don't want us to be split down two sides so near the end of the year and graduation. I don't want to end my time with the mons with anger and resentment. Let's not leave ourselves any regrets or pain or bad memories. Please dissolve the Pact and the Alliance, and be friends with each other again. I know it's not easy, and it'll take a lot of apologising and understanding on both parties' parts, but it's a good thing in a long run.

Take it as I'm begging everyone. I think I do know a little something about regrets, and they're not good things to have. They will plague you all your life. Remember Lu Xun in sec 3? He destroyed his brother's kite, and all his life he regretted it. He could never apologise because his brother had forgotten about it, and the guilt remained with him forever. I'm not cursing Desmond, but this may very likely be the case. I don't want to destroy any future gatherings of the mons together, or the memories that we've all created together.
